Nothing other than a publicity stunt IMHO. If he wanted to do a V8 engine swap, there are many other suitable cars to choose from.I agree, Rich Rebuilds has been garnering his fame on his salvage Tesla repair projects, but this just goes against everything the Model S is supposed to represent. Cheap publicity stunt to gain even more eyeballs. I mean, do what you normally do, restore this beauty to its former glory by sourcing the relevant parts, sure. But adding an engine to it kinda desecrates the purpose for which it was created.
